Student Awards /学生奖项

Our students Margaret, Ellen and Karl won in the PediatricRead Writing Contest 2014! Among the 60,000 eligible students, only 15 of them have won a prize, and our students take 3 of the 15 positions. Considering only four of our students have joined the competition, we should even be more proud of them!

Our high school student Rachel won a top ten prize in the 2014 North American Youth Chess Championship (New York, June 2014). She also won a position in the World Youth Chess Championships 2014 (South Africa).

Our grade 5 student Awriter and her softball team have won the championship among the 17 teams from San Francisco Bay Area (California). We are so proud of Awriter! Congratulations, Awriter! (November 2014)

Aaron won the Best Short Story Award in the Green Globe International Writing Contest this year 2015! He is from Seattle.

Aria, a middle schooler from Ohio, is now the student newspaper editor. He used to be scared of writing and speaking before he enrolled in Dr. Joe International Education's Writing Reading Speaking classes three years ago.

Laura, a long time friend and diligent student of ours, is the Best Speaker in the All-Star Speakers Meeting 2017.  Bravo!

Charlie has stayed in our classes for four years and 2018 sees his great performance in academic courses. His GPA has grown from 2.8 when he joined us to the present 4.0!  Not bad, right? : )

Tiger, one of our loyal students and a 2019 high school graduate from Maryland,  has got the offer of admission from Harvard University.   Beautiful!

Sean, one of our long-term student,  is from an elite private high school on the east coast.  In the summer of 2020, Sean won the first prize in a nation wide high school writing competition with his essay My Responsibility in Keeping a Healthy Community.    Great job!
